We were tasked to design an upmarket office environment for a young and dynamic company dealing in energy commodities. Our focus was primarily on creating a space that the Cometa Group can be proud of and receive their international clientele.
The space required various types of work settings, meeting and entertaining spaces within the confines of an existing buildout.
The open-plan space takes advantage of the 360 degree view of the Cape Town CBD and surrounds while providing ample space for employees to work and entertain. Natural light fills all workspaces, offices and meeting rooms, limiting the use of artificial lighting in the space.
The Cometa Group’s brand identity informed the use of finishes including high end timbers, stone surfaces and brass details. Relating back to the nature of the business. The introduction of greenery follows through across the office, activating the space and setting a relaxing, natural scene.
Cometa Group’s new office is a space that is bright and welcoming, where staff can work comfortably and proudly entertain clients while overlooking the amazing Cape Town city backdrop.
