IoT.nxt, a global Internet of Things company offering a dynamic application enablement platform comprising of software, middleware, hardware and analytics services, expanded its office space to accommodate its growing team with the flexibility needed for hybrid working models.
The primary goal was to make the office space more inviting for all employees. This included establishing a comfortable work environment, while still reflecting the company’s technological focus. This approach ensured alignment of the physical workspace with the IoT.nxt brand identity and operational ethos.
The client-facing areas, which were designed to resonate with the new look of IoT.nxt’s brand, offer an immersive experience that showcases their products and technology in a unique and innovative client experience centre.
The office layout adopts a modern agile-working philosophy, and includes various types of working and meeting areas, providing staff with various options for where to work, and collaborate. This includes communal areas designed for casual meetings, socialising, focus work, and relaxation, supporting the dynamic needs of the company.
The arrangement of various operational teams was carefully planned to be adjacent to each other. This strategic placement aims to foster better communication and collaboration among employees.
The aesthetic theme of the fit out combines elements of industrial design, and an emphasis on technology, with a warm, inviting environment. This unique blend reflects the company’s technological edge while maintaining a comfortable and engaging environment for all stakeholders.
A significant aspect of the project was the reuse of existing furniture, minimising waste and promoting sustainability. New furniture was introduced only where necessary, ensuring a balance between the old and new elements in the office space.
The result is a functional, technology-enabled and brand-aligned workspace that accommodates a modern, agile style of work, promoting a positive office culture.
